Indiana Farm Bureau endorses Andrea Hunley for State Senate
INDIANAPOLIS – April 4, 2022 – Candidate Andrea Hunley is proud to receive an endorsement for her run for State Senate District 46 from Indiana Farm Bureau (INFB).
Indiana Farm Bureau’s nonpartisan political action committee, AgELECT, endorsed 23 candidates running for office in the May 3 primary election. Andrea Hunley was the only Democratic candidate endorsed by INFB.
“I am proud to have this endorsement because of the emphasis Indiana Farm Bureau puts on protecting our environment, especially our waterways,” stated Andrea Hunley. “Additionally, INFB is focused on advocating for broadband internet access, the need for increased workforce development, and improved (rural) public health.”
AgELECT is a state-level PAC that supports and makes endorsements in Statehouse races with a goal to support ag-friendly candidates running for elected office. The endorsement process stays true to the grassroots nature of the organization and includes a multi-step process starting with recommendations from Indiana Farm Bureau members living in the district.
The new District 46 includes creative entrepreneurs and long-standing local businesses, vibrant neighborhoods and corporate headquarters, community-centered nonprofits, and public schools,” said Andrea Hunley. “I am the candidate with the proven leadership, bold voice and ability to represent the future of our city in the Indiana State Senate.”
Early voting begins Tuesday, April 5.
